A3144 Hall Effect Sensor

A Hall effect sensor is a device that is used to measure the magnitude of a magnetic field.  A3144 This is a digital sensor, so there will be only two states on the output pin: HIGH or LOW .
Hall sensors are commonly used to time the speed , such as do to regulate the speed of disk drives. They are used in brushless DC electric motors to detect the position of the permanent magnet.
It can also be easily interfaced with a microcontroller

Features of A3144 Hall Effect Sensor
1. Supply voltage range 4.5 V to 24 V
2. Open-Collector 25 mA Output and Compatible with Digital Logic
3. Reverse Battery Protection
4. Activate with Small, Commercially Available Permanent Magnets
5. Small Size
6. Low Price

TEST

The range of a Hall Effect Sensor depends on the strength of the magnet you use. In the test we used a Neodymiummagnet to test out the range of when the sensor reacts on the magnet.
Open a series of monitors to view data sensor.
