Resistor SMD decoder
First two or three digits indicate the numerical resistance value of the resistor and the last digit gives a multiplier. The last digit indicates the exponent of ten by which to multiply the value. The letter “R” serves as a comma. Examples:
- 1R2 = 1.2Ω
- 103 = 10Ω * 103 =10 000Ω (10kΩ)
- 8202 = 820Ω * 102 = 82 000(82kΩ)
